Q's Restaurant

Delicious!

Q's has been on my radar since I had brunch there several months after first moving to Boulder. Food was excellent then, I just hadn't made it back-that is until last night.

Sumptious food and classy service. (And I must say, I am picky about service).

I visited Q's in November for Boulder First Bite with a group of friends. After ordering several bottles of wine for the table we settled to the task of choosing our courses.

After much debating, I settled on a crisp romaine caesar salad with garlic caper dressing. I am not usually a crouton girl-but I only wish more had come tossed with this mouth watering crunchy and fresh salad.

My entre was baked sole with an orange glaze, roasted spaghetti squash and crispy potato strings. My first time having sole (yes I have Soul now), and although not a huge fan of the fish, it was prepared excellently and every part of dish was perfect. Garnish's were appropriate, orange combined nicely with the flakiness of the fish. The best part? This dish was so well porportioned that I couldn't even finish it!

Now, lets talk dessert. I consider myself a cheesecake snob-and a top snob at that. But this cheesecake is well worth coming back for to savor with an espresso. Pumpkin and goatcheese cheesecake with a brittle on top. Oh my..!

If chocolate is your thing (and is mine too)... I reached across the table and helped myself to a taste of this gorgeous chocolate marquis-this pyramid of decadent dark chocolate with a malt ball chocolate sauce on the side....mmm...mmmm.

Oh Q's you will never be forgotten..
